Mark Tinnion

Brand Director

Mark joined Pennine in March 2014, bringing to Pennine a wealth of marketing experience and skill.

His 16-year career has included significant roles at companies including Intel Corporation and the Sony Corporation, where he was part of the team that successfully launched the Sony VAIO brand into the UK and the Pentium 4 Processor into Europe.

Mark has quickly made an impact here at Pennine, defining the company brand and Mission Statement. To enhance our customer service and experience, Mark has been instrumental in creating our dedicated Aftercare department to support our customers.

Mark also led and implemented a company restructure to enable us to redefine the double-glazing experience and set new standards of service for the industry.

Graham Jenney

Installations Director

Graham has played a major role in recent years helping to drive up the profitability of Pennine.

A qualified accountant, Graham joined the business in 2007 after previously being the Managing Director of Budget Windows, where he started as finance director but soon took on a wider operational role.

Graham has made the most of that experience and skill here at Pennine, driving up efficiency in the installations operation – resulting in an enhanced customer experience.

Improvements in procurement, as well as a restructuring of the department and the operational delivery pipeline, have made us a more efficient business – and a real winner with customers.

Derek McLaren

Sales Director

Derek found himself at the helm of the sales department in 2014 after a distinguished career here at Pennine since the company started in 2006. This has included a stint as Head of Retention and an award as Top Salesman in 2012.

Derek’s goal is to maximise sales for Pennine year on year, building on already-strong foundations, and to tap into technological advancements for his skilled salesforce.

As an experienced salesperson, Derek keeps the needs of our customers at the heart of everything he does, and has developed a huge understanding of their requirements.

Long term, Derek sees great potential in extending our popular product line in line with customer demand and market trends across the North East region.

Alan Oliver

Finance Director

Alan joined Crownfold Ltd, the parent company of Pennine, in February, 2000 and became a director in December, 2007.

After studying accountancy at Durham, Alan previously worked within a small partnership assisting with tax, accountancy, pension and estate issues of several entrepreneurs. Alan eventually reached partner level at the firm before leaving to work for Crownfold Ltd.

Alan’s current focus is to drive growth, profitability and modernisation here at Pennine, whilst delivering an exceptional service to customers.

Since working at Pennine, Alan has been instrumental in achieving 400% profit growth over 15 years and successfully completed the acquisition and merge of two major competitors.

Nusheen Hussain

Marketing Director

Having joined Pennine as Head of Marketing in November 2014, Nusheen Hussain has brought a wealth of expertise with over 20 years in various senior marketing roles. Her previous roles include working as Head of Marketing to lead the digital switchover with the BBC as well as working in various industry sectors, including publishing, broadcasting, financial services and construction. Nusheen quickly made her mark at Pennine and the results were impressive.

Nusheen’s strategic input has helped improved the business performance. She currently manages a number of channels at Pennine including our showrooms, website, telemarketing, field marketing and the overall marketing activities for the company.

Nusheen says “I’m very pleased to be part of the senior management team at Pennine as there is so much potential to this business. My ethos is based on test, learn and roll out – a continuous improvement program to help us to better what we do and to relentlessly improve our customer experience.”
